Enjoy the sweet taste of ripe figs with this delicious vegan pastry tart. A delectable dessert or snack is made with soft figs, flaky puff pastry, and crunchy walnuts.
Ingredients:
- 1 sheet vegan puff pastry
- 8-10 fresh figs, sliced
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 2 tbsp vegan butter, melted
- 2 tbsp chopped walnuts
- 1 tbsp almond flour
Instructions:
Turn on your oven and heat it up to 375F 190C
Put the puff pastry sheet on a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper
The almond flour should be spread out evenly on the baking sheet
Put the sliced figs on top of the almond flour
Put maple syrup on top of the figs
Melt the vegan butter and brush it over the figs and the edges of the pastry
Add chopped walnuts on top of that
The pastry should be baked in a hot oven for twenty to twenty-five minutes, or until it turns golden brown
Take it out of the oven after it's done and let it cool down a bit
Cut it up and serve it hot
